Project Description:
This new 3,800 square foot, “spec” beach house was commissioned by developer on a narrow site (50 x 150) near Pier Beach and Wreck Pond in Spring Lake, NJ. The high ceilings and large windows enhance the room sizes while passageways navigate the 5 bedroom + 4.5 bath on 3 levels. Although the site is tight, the layout achieves exceptional net/gross space utilization with minimal wasted space or volume. Ocean and Pond views have been captured from multiple locations on the upper levels, including the North/South terraces, which offer both open and covered areas.

The penthouse level offers ocean views from the large private bedroom, full marble bathroom and entertainment space (complete with full wet bar/pantry) and "sunset" terrace which offers the perfect setting for cocktail hour after a long day on the beach! Another appealing attraction for luxury 2nd home buyer(empty nester’s) and their grandchildren is the separate master bedroom suites with private bath’s and access to laundry facilities. The exceptional views were captured through thoughtful design, especially at Penthouse level (habitable attic) utilizing unique roof design and structural roof design systems. In addition to the dramatic front multi-level porches and the wide bay windows, extended eaves and continuous wave-like roof dormer's enhance this cost effective solution for a sporty beach house design.
